Lake Winnipesaukee Waterfront Rental Alton Bay NH Sandy Beach Dock Sleeps 10

Perfect setup for our family of 10 (6 adults, 4 children) with awesome beach area for the kids and deck on the boat house that had the best view of the lake. Great layout with All the amenities. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware and utensils you need. We loved the outdoor shower after playing on the beach and fishing on the deck. Loved this place!

Everything was as described or better. The property was ready early for us and was better in person than in pictures. The kitchen was well appointed, although might be time to get new frying pans if you want eggs in the morning. That is literally the only knock on the property.

Our week at Alton Bay Bliss was perfect in every way. The house had everything we needed and the weather was perfect. Watching fireworks on the deck was breathtaking. Memories were made the we will hold on to for a lifetime.

We have stayed here for 3 years in a row and will never look for another property. The house has everything you need for a perfect vacation! Even if it rains, there is the ping pong table in the garage, pool table & darts downstairs, and lots of games, puzzles, books & movies. A new composite dock was built and it’s beautiful! If you are bringing your own boat or jetski, you will need bumpers to tie to the dock (bungee cords work best to secure them). Also, you can drop in Minge Cove Marina. $25 for jet ski. The water entry has been redone and they added steps and a nice sandy area for kids to play (bring your own sand toys). The water has a sandy bottom “beach entry”. Plenty of room to wade around for little ones. Even at the dock, it’s only about 4 feet deep. The roof top of the boat house is such a beautiful spot to lounge or dine on the waterfront. There is full sun in the morning, then shaded from around noon on. This is such a wonderful place to getaway!
Helpful Information:
SHEETS: If you have stayed here before, and bringing your own sheets, the 2nd bed upstairs (not the primary) is now a king size. I didn’t think to read the rental agreement (which is updated with the new bed size), and I only brought queen sheets. If you also get stuck in this jam, Walmart is close by! Also note, comforters/blankets & pillows are provided for free.
DISH TOWELS: If you can’t find dish towels in the kitchen, look in the closet next to the primary bedroom.

This vacation home exceeded our expectations!!! There was plenty of space for our group of 10. The pool table in the basement and the large assortment of games were a big plus, especially for the rainy days at the beginning of our stay.
I would definitely recommend this place.

WONDERFUL PROPERTY WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED/WANT!

GRILL UTENSILS: Hanging on hooks in the breezeway room where you enter the property. *BOAT/JET SKI: If you are bringing your own, you can drop in Minge Cove Marina. $25 to drop our jet ski. Boats may be more. It is also the best place to refuel. You will need your own bumpers to tie to the dock. Walmart in Moultonborough has them for about $10. Through trial & error, we found bungee cords work best to secure them. WHAT’S THAT FUNKY BARGE THING? Check out The Dive. It’s a floating bar & restaurant. It anchors at sandbars & other locations around the whole lake. You can anchor next to it and swim right up! www.thedive-nh.com Facebook-thedivelakewinni RESTAURANTS: Our favorite restaurants are: O Steaks & Seafood at Lake Opechee Inn & Spa in Laconia, Lago in Meredith, Canoe in Center Harbor, Giuseppe’s in Meredith, Patrick’s Pub & Eatery in Gilford, and for a quick lunch check out Alton Village Pizza in Alton Bay. Also, Ben & Jerry’s in Meredith. Mill Falls is a beautiful place to walk around…great photo op in front of the waterfall! You will not be disappointed in this property. Enjoy!
