We just kicked back and relaxed on the screen in porch. We did like the new improvement of the bathroom. They just have to fix the door lock.
Just one more thing the cleaning crew maybe should clean between the windows of cob webs. We would like to thank the Peters for letting use your beautiful vacation home.

"We had a wonderful time - completely restful and so peaceful. We sat on the porch and played cards, read and just watched folks paddleboard and kayak. We say a plane or two land and take off. We went out to dinner. We walked and explored. The only negative aspect is the party boats across the water on the weekend. Occasionally their music was loud."

"The cabin's screen porch is a delightful location to see birds and watch the lake. The water is literally a few feet away. Can easily here waves lapping the rocky shore from most windows. The lake surrounds the house on 3 sides. Feels like being on a boat without any rocking!

Cabin is smallish with only two bedrooms -- the limit of 4 people is accurate. Kitchen is laid out funky, but functional. Didn't use the fireplace, but would be great in slightly colder temperatures. Has a charcoal BBQ.

For those who like lake-swimming, there is a shallow sandy bottom near the dock and the water temperature was 'refreshing' once away from shore.

We brought a 15' canoe. Lake was absolutely wonderful for it. Tied up at the pier overnight. About 2' of water at the pier, so no deep-draft vessels. Power boaters and jet skies steered clear and left us alone while we canoed around.

Others have mentioned week-end noise from boaters and jet-skis on the lake. Yep. But gone by 9PM during our stay. Not very much noise Monday-Thursday - mostly jet skis 1/2 way across bay. Noise was not a problem for us, but if you're sensitive... Mornings (even week-end) were absolutely quiet, except for the sounds of nature.

The management firm (At the Lake Vacation Rentals) was very responsive to some minor issues. They have additional documents you'll need to sign before getting there. If you're like me, ask for them via a query before sending VRBO any funds.

Cute cabin located on the perfect spot of the prperty. Awesome views from every window; Dining table, kitchen, living room. screened in porch, open air porch, and dock.
Could have easier in/out acess of the lake, and queen bed mattress could use a foam pad on top of it.
