Winnipesaukee waterfront home located in the picturesque Salmon Meadow Cove area in Moultonborough. Just an 8 minute drive from the Town of Center Harbor by car and an easy boat ride to the "broads" of the lake for you day of exploring by water. 5 bedrooms and 2 baths (both baths are located on the main level) plus a recently renovated kitchen, living room, 3-season room and a walk-out family room in the lower level. Imagine relaxing on the deck and looking out to the water while enjoying your morning coffee or evening beverage. There's plenty of room for everyone to gather for a rousing board game or slip away for some quiet reflection. There is a nice sand-bottom walk-in area for accessing the water on one side of the property and a large U-shaped dock on the other side. The dock will accommodate your boat up to 24 feet in length (the owner keeps two boats on the dock as well but will not access them while the property is rented). You can take a swim out to the raft to work on your tan then jump back in to cool off on your way back to shore. Enjoy some burgers and dogs cooked on the gas grill or, if you prefer to go "old school", you can roast them on the charcoal grill for that true back yard barbecue flavor. Make sure to save some room for s'mores around the campfire while taking in the pretty sunset in the evening. Is Rover giving you the side-eye every time you talk about your upcoming vacation? Well tell him he's going too! A dog, depending on the size and kind and with a $200 pet fee may be allowed. Please ask about bringing your dog at the time of booking. New for 2026: Both bathrooms have been updated with new tub or shower enclosures (see photos)!
The fireplaces are both off limits and can not be used.
LINENS: Please note: Sheets and towels are not included with this rental. If you would like to rent sheets and/or bath towel packages from At The Lake Vacation Rentals, the cost of sheets (including arrival bed making) for this home is $150. Towel packages are $12 per person and include 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth. Please let us know at time of booking if you would like to rent sheets and bath towels as availability is limited.

"We had 10 people for a couple of days and the house worked well with the exception that the property lists the bed sizes incorrectly. The description says 2 queen beds and there only was 1 queen. Not only did we bring the wrong sheets but the large couple could not sleep together. One slept on the sofa which is unacceptable. The owners should get rid of their overloaded cabinet of black rotting and rusted pans as well as their overloaded spatula drawer. "
"We don't blame you but the lake has become so over developed that it is no longer Winni. I have been going to the lake since 1950. This was an eye opener. The area is full of mansions of proud people trying to out do others. I doubt we will be back. The house was fine but the stall shower is still leaking and my cause black mold to develop over time. Needs a rebuild and not just a patch job."

The docks were fantastic for our two fishing boats. The secluded bay off the main lake was very calm during the heavy storms that blew through. "
